Millfield Primary – March 2011

I have had the pleasure of talking to over a thousand school pupil during the 2011 World Book Week. So as you can imagine it’s been a very busy time.

Here’s a picture of me and the guys from Millfield Primary School in Lincoln whom I had the pleasure of visiting and sharing some of my writing ideas with.

World Book Week – February 2011

World book week is here and I’m fully booked everyday – even going in fancy dress to one school.

As well as that I have a full day on Saturday starting at the Nottingham Branch of Waterstones for a signing from 11am to 4pm, then a train journey back to Lincoln to Sign copies of the book and chat to readers at the Lincoln branch on the high street from 5-7.

Paul Tyler from The Reading Room will be there and I’ve been told that there will be some book giveaways.

Only 6 days left to the Lincolnshire launch of The Turncoats!

We’ll begin at 12pm with a wonderful cake creation from the delicious Kate Elizabeth Cupcakes. So if you want a slice, you’d better arrive early! I’ll be signing books until

Best Wishes,

My signing event at the Grimsby branch of Waterstones was out of this world! Jane and I worked the children’s section as if we had been working together forever, and achieved the Number One position in the Bestseller Chart. Once again, many thanks to all involved.

A big hello to years five and six at Nettleton Primary School and the boys from Carres Grammar School in Sleaford. Hello also to the pupils who came to visit me at Branston Library, and the children from Greenwich House Independent School in Louth. I hope to see you at the launch of The Turncoats at the Lincoln High Street branch of Waterstones.

Finally, many thanks to Jennifer and Sue, who helped organise the library visits.
